贏出櫻花賞以及秋華賞跑獲季軍的「橡木城」（Stellenbosch、ステレンボッシュ）考慮出戰香港國際賽事，出戰香港瓶或香港盃。練馬師國枝榮表示，騎師配搭，角逐哪場賽事一切未定，但是一旦獲選，跑任何一場賽事也沒有問題。「橡木城」贏出櫻花賞後，先後分別於日本橡樹大賽以及秋華賞各得亞軍及季軍。
